This photobook tells Nayuta Aku’s internal story and struggle to be both a “Kawaii” idol that has a certain… darker, internal world, that nobody ever really sees. Aku-chan has been an idol for many years, and has seen it all and done it all, but she still is not finished yet with her idol career. After taking a year off from the idol world, Aku-chan decided to rejoin the idol world and is now poised to start yet again on even new paths.
In many ways, she’s Picasso shedding his blue period, ready to paint new pictures with her singing, dancing, and overall idol craziness that Aku-chan is known for. And BLUE MOTH is representative of the many faces and sides of Aku-chan that tell both her outward, celebrated life as this incredibly respected idol… and the much more complex and harder to reach inner world that Aku-chan has kept to herself… until now.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of an idol who has contributed so much to the idol world in Japan.
