Please note: Due to Covid-19, the company that Idol Underworld uses, Japan Post, has stopped deliveries to many countries. Until Japan Post opens up their routes again, Idol Underworld will hold all orders at the Idol Underworld office. Orders will be shipped immediately once Japan Post opens up again to the world. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please make sure you understand this before you order from Idol Underworld. Our advice would be to open up a Tenso account. You will receive your items no matter where you are at in the world if you use Tenso. Thank you!

GOOD TO KNOW

  • All deliveries are pending approval and merchandise availability.  Orders are processed Monday-Friday. We do not ship Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.
  • Standard shipping inside of Japan typically arrives between 3-16 business days.  Standard service is provided with final delivery via the Japan Postal Service. Delivery can be expected within 3-16 business days depending on your address, Monday through Saturday. Currently, we do not offer tracking for your items.
  • All International Deliveries will take about 10 days to process, and then after that, the time it will take to reach you, depending on where you live in the world. It could be up to a month or longer.
  • Certain countries may charge additional fees, such as custom fees and independent carrier fees.
  • We do not ship to military bases.
  • Watch for an email from us. We may need additional information to process your order.
  • If you change your address, you must notify us via email. We have to input the address in Japan Post’s customs system, and that means syncing your IU address on file with the address on file at the Post Office website. We are not responsible if packages are delivered to the wrong place because of the addresses being different.
  • Idol Underworld is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS, SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK.

Q: Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

A: We currently only offer Standard Shipping to PO Boxes.

Q: I haven’t received my item. Who should I contact?

A: All orders are processed Monday through Friday but are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays. If you still think your order is missing in action, please send us a message through our contact form on the CONTACT US page at Idolunderworld.com. Mark the SUBJECT as “MISSING ITEM”. Specify order number, what artist the item is from, and as much description as possible about your situation. If you fail to provide any of this information, we will not be able to assist you in finding your lost item or items.

Q: How will you notify me if there is a problem with my order?

A: All order communication is done via email, so it’s important that your email address is accurate and current.

International Shipping FAQs

Q: Do you ship orders overseas?

A: Yes, we ship orders all over the world. All order communication will occur via email, so it’s very important that your email address is current. Please make sure to double-check the shipping address, too. Your phone number is optional, but it helps in case there is a delivery problem.

Q: Why does International shipping cost more?

A: International shipping costs more because your package requires extensive packaging and processing.

Q: How much will I pay for International shipping?

A: Your shipping price will be determined online by the weight of your order and the shipping destination. After the “Shipping Address” page, you’ll see price for your order. Also, and this is VERY IMPORTANT:  We charge for everything, from the tape we use to tape your package to the packaging envelopes, to the time it takes to process each order. We do this because this business is very small and the money we make per order is so ridiculously small, we HAVE to ask for payment for things like the envelopes, tape, etc. It’s the only way we can give the idols the highest percentage possible for all sales AND still stay in business.*

Q: Can you designate my order as a gift so I don’t need to pay custom fees?

A: We’re sorry, but we are not able to designate any packages as gifts.

Q: What are my International shipping options?

A: Japan’s regular mail delivery for international packages is the preferred shipping method. Please note that we do not offer Overnight or Second Day deliveries for international orders at this time.

Q: How long will it take my International package to arrive?

A: It can take up to 20 days or longer, in some cases, to reach you, but typically, international orders are processed and delivered within two weeks after ordering. Customs inspections may cause unforeseeable delays, both when leaving Japan and entering another country.

Q: Are there any other charges, taxes or duties?

A: You may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. The Japan Postal Service, Idol Underworld, or any other independent shipping carrier can not be held liable for any additional charges you may incur. Additional charges for Customs clearance must be borne by you. Idol Underworld has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Each country has their own Customs regulations that may or may not charge for certain types of merchandise or material included in your order. When ordering from Idol Underworld, you are considered the Importer of Record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Each order will be accompanied by a Customs form that will document what is in the package and provide a dollar amount of the value of the package. If something is damaged, they will need to know the value of the item(s). You should contact your local Customs office for further information.
